Bulletproof: LZ - Grindless Primer
LZ – Grindless Primer is a fast-drying primer formulated to eliminate the need for grinding in most applications. It provides strong chemical bonding to concrete, tile, wood, metal, and many existing coatings, creating a durable base layer for epoxy, polyaspartic, and urethane systems.
Application
Mix 1 quart of LZ - Grindless Primer with 1 gallon of acetone.
Stir thoroughly by hand only for 60 to 90 seconds.
Do not use an electric drill.
Once mixed with acetone, the product has a pot life of 2 hours.
The product should be applied evenly across the substrate at a thickness of 2 mils (for reference, a dollar bill is 4 mils thick). The working time on the floor is 15 minutes. You can apply it using one of two methods:
Spray & Mop Style: Use a pump sprayer to apply a light, even coat across the surface, and use a microfiber mop pad to spread the coating evenly.
Dip & Roll Method: Pour the mixture into a roller tray or solvent-rated sprayer and use an 18" roller to apply the primer evenly across large surfaces.
